Guidelines for CSA members who pickup at the barn
Feel free to reach out with any questions
If you pickup at the barn…
If you pick out your own veggies at the barn each week, you will probably only Farmigo to sign up for a CSA season. (You will not have to interface with Farmigo each week unless you choose to get a pre-packed bag one week, or if you want to change your share size, both explained below.)
Share Sizes
We offer a mini share (4 items), small share (6 items), medium share (8 items), large share (10 items), and a super share (12 items).
*Mini shares are generally too small for most members. We recommend only choosing a mini share if you have been a part of the CSA, and feel confident that you only want 4 items per week.
Payments
Members have access to their own CSA accounts through Farmigo. Payments can be made at your Farmigo account through Paypal by using a credit card, debit card, or your Paypal account. We also accept cash, check, EBT, and F2F coupons that we update to your account.
Purchasing Extra Items
You can buy extra items at the barn and leave payment with cash or check in the cash box. If you want to purchase items in bulk at wholesale prices, log onto your Farmigo account, click on the “store” button in the right, and then click on the “Bulk” line on the left. That brings up all the wholesale items available that week. Your order will be ready at the barn for you to grab when you come to pick our your CSA veggies for the week.
Refunds/Credits
If you want to adjust your share size:
On the overview page, there is a Summary box with “Next Distribution,” “Pickup Location,” and “Subscription.”
Click on “Subscription.”
Select the share size you want.
If your life circumstances change, (such as moving out of the area, family emergency, etc), and you need to refund the remainder of a season, reach out. We can offer a refund for the future weeks you aren’t able to use. We know that life is dynamic.
We encourage CSA members to give us feedback about veggie quality by emailing us at eveningsongstore@gmail.com. If you receive poor quality, unusable veggies, please let us know. We want to share the best quality produce, so your feedback helps us improve our systems and catch issues early on. We can credit you an item back on your account for future ordering.
Communication
We send out a weekly CSA newsletter through Farmigo each week. It is also available by Sunday morning each week by clicking on the “CSA” tab, and the “Weekly CSA Newsletter” subheading. The newsletter has the availability list for the week, any important updates, and farm news.
You’ll receive automatic payment email reminders from Farmigo.
Please add eveningsongstore@gmail.com and eveningsongcsa@gmail.com to your address book to prevent our communications from being caught in spam filters.
Skipping A Week
If you pickup at the barn each week, but miss a week, just keep track of the items you missed, and make those up at your leisure.
Changing Your Pickup Day Or Location
You may never use this option, but in case you need it one week, here is how:
On the overview page, there is a Summary box with “Next Distribution,” “Pickup/Change,” and “Subscription.”
If you want to make a change only for the upcoming week, click on “Next Delivery.”
If you want to make a change for the foreseeable future, click on “Permanent.” (You can still change this again in the future.)
Select your new pickup location.
You do not have to change your pickup site back to your original pickup site if you only select the “Next Delivery” option.
Click here for a quick video about how to change your pickup location or day.
How do I get started?
Click here to sign up. Follow the steps to sign up for the next season. A confirmation of your account, pickup location details, and start date will be automatically emailed to you. Or check out the various subheadings under the “CSA” tab at the top of our website, to answer any questions about what the CSA sizes, seasons, and veggie availability are like.
