Veggie Sticks with Yogurt Ranch Dip

My kids love eating raw veggies, and they really love it when I make a little yogurt-based ranch dip to go along with them. Do your kids love ranch dressing, but you want to avoid all the less healthy ingredients in a store bought dressing? This easy recipe is entirely yogurt, spices, and some maple syrup, so I feel like I am winning knowing they are dipping their sticks in savory yogurt!

  • Veggies sticks (cut up from carrots, watermelon radishes, daikon, red and yellow beets, or kohlrabi)

  • 2 cups yogurt (we use our own yogurt from our goats, and I strain it to be a thicker consistency like a store bought Greek yogurt for this recipe)

  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed

  • 1 1/2 TBSP onion powder

  • 1 TBSP dried onion flakes

  • 2 tsp dill

  • 1 tsp oregano

  • 1 tsp basil

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

  • 1 TBSP maple syrup

Whisk all the ingredients together (besides the veggie sticks), and then serve with the veggie sticks. Enjoy!
